Upcoming Gig
Posted 2006-04-18 03:21:58

Upcoming gig...
April 20th
Club One
3025 Main St.
Dallas, TX

This will be a tag set from Knowldg (aka Chi Know) and myself. I'm really looking forward to it, since Knowldg and I always have fun tagging.

Other news... making plans to go to Amsterdam in July for Dance Valley and to bounce around for a bit. Real excited about that. If anyone from that area, or Luxburg, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, or anywhere near reads this, please give a shout and let me know where there's some cool places to go.

Also... just an update... I'm no longer hosting weekly's at the club "The Palace/ Latin Palace."
It's gone a different direction, which was opposite where I was. Maybe some other club... some other day.

Excuses...

First... I have to once again thank anyone who's downloaded my sets and checked them out. Thanks.
I tried to start again on the mix I've been wanting to put out the past few months... actually... almost 8 months now... unfortunately one of the pieces of vinyl needs to be replaced, and since this is set means so much to me to be an all-vinyl set, well... I need to replace it before I can continue. That or a miracle that fixes the problem I'm having with the current piece. However, I do plan on making an all digital (CD) mix here shortly in the next couple of weeks.
Only with a hectic work schedule, two weekly's, drinking and sleep, finding new tracks and time to spin makes it a challenge. But I'm starting to have a day off from work again, so a new mix should be coming soon.
In regards to the weekly's. There is a weekly on Friday that I'm (Studio-A) co-hosting with two other promoters (Doselocos Prod. and AudioBlip) that we've just begun. As the previous weekly I was/am hosting, this is also done at "The Palace" at 2610 Elm St. in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas. There are many plans and ideas to be used by all three of us promoters, and I'm really looking forward to a great success through the partnership and weekly. The title of the weekly is "In The Moment", and weekly details can be found on the weekly calendar on www.dallasdancemusic.com. This night will also host rotating residents such as myself, YonyKidd, and Nick Miranda, and more to come.
The second weekly is also at "The Palace" on Sunday nights. Since the partnership of Studio-A with the other two promoters is in effect, in means to keep the two weekly's separate, "Studio-A pres. Urban Reconnaissance League, v.2" is the new promotions tag for this weekly. It will be more geared to the newer or unrecognized talent, as well as mixing in all sorts of genres with each other, in attempts to bridge some gaps. Another residency I have as well, however, like Friday nights, not an every week thing for me. Details can be found on the same calendar on www.dallasdancemusic.com.
Well... that's the only updates I have for the moment... more to come I'm sure.
Once again... thanks to any and everyone.

New weekly...
Posted 2005-09-28 03:07:24

I have secured a new weekly on Sunday nights at "The Palace." Located at 2610 Elm St. Dallas, TX. 10PM-2AM. We will also feature rotating DJ's, spanning all different genres. So far it's all going good... and hopefully more will come of it.
