Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but each closed door in life keeps company with countless more waiting to be opened. This concept underlies the tracks and theme of this mix as I contemplate a new sense of freedom. I also find that I feel the most free when I am able to step in my car and cruise the concrete ribbons of the West Coast. Whether the destination is fun, work, surf, school, party or spontaneity it becomes readily apparent that life is amazing the minute you get up to speed and listen to your favorite tracks. There isn’t another city that quite thrives on this freeway culture like Los Angeles.
