Taylor Wolfsen

18 years a go I started doing mobiles. 16 years ago I started playing and throwing raves as well as spinning in night clubs. 7 years ago I bought a night club called Club Octane. 5 years ago I got a radio show.

Over the course of the years I have lost or miss placed a lot of the mixes from the early days. Recently I ran into an old friend who had kept most of them all this time (thanks Gen!). I decided to put up an archive of my work over the past 18 years. This will take some time and while the mixes being posted will be old I will make sure to make special note of the new ones.

While I am categorized as Trance, the truth is I became known for playing Disco, Funk, & Old School. After that I moved into Hip-Hop and from that graduated to all forms of electronic music. My mixes have a tendency to be all over the board as far as types of music from disco house, to breaks, to acid, to trance and some other stuff as well. I've been told that's one of the reasons people enjoy them so much.

Anyway, here's 18 years of my work and I hope you enjoy it. I still do play out occasionally for events so let me know if your interested and I'll see if it works. One last thing, while I do now have most of my mixes I'm still missing some of the very early ones and would love some help tracking them down!

Oh, as far as track listings go, I'll try and put some together for the old mixes but it's been so long and trying to find these records now in my collection... Well, it would be time consuming to say the least. If your curious about a certain track, let me know and I'll get the info for you.

Again, if your interested in the mix tracked out, download the first 11 tracks. If you want the whole thing as just one file download just track 12. This one is called "Ten Years Live Pt. 2". I made it in 1999 and it is the second CD of a double that I recorded on the same day, non stop, no editing for my tenth year anniversary.. The first disc is by far the more commercial of the two. CD two (this one) is much deeper and some of the tracks on this album are still in my crate today.

I recommend downloading 1 & 2 and playing them back to back. It really is a journey and those of you that know me know that i mastered the "ride" on this one. I mention in the description of disc 1 that this was one of the funnest mixes i ever made. Well, here's a little proof. lol. At the end of the last track on CD 2, I was on such a high from spinning that if you listen carefully you can actually hear me scream in the background... One of those interesting things that happen I guess, the needle must have picked up the vibrations through the record because the system had no mic.

Anyhow, enjoy.

tracks coming soon.
