The very first dance cassette tape I owned was Substance. I've bought everything prior to it,including Joy Division, and everything after it, including The Other Two and Electronic. I think I've also bought every single and remix I could get my paws on.
I just dig Bernard Sumner's vocals, Peter Hook's out of tune guitar, and the catchy beats they always deliver.
I'm not sure why it's taken me so many years to mix an exlusive New Order session, but I can tell you it sure felt good. Maybe the timing is finally right?
If the Bizarre Love Triangle or Blue Monday drum beats drop a million more times, I guarantee they will still be a call to the dancefloor for me.
