Another fantastic month's worth of music. Have had time to sit and concentrate on putting this mix together, and exploring the possibilities that Ableton Live gives you. Really enjoying the stuff that's about right now, and the digital DJ'ing aspect appears to be gaining acceptance. Since the last mix I've built a website devoted to DJ'ing using Ableton Live (www.abletonlivedj.com), and some people I totally respect have got involved, so am really happy about that.
Track of the month for me is Dogma. Exactly what I'm into, and the breakdown is just fantastic. If that choral bit is an original composition then I applaud the guy. Just beautiful. Hope I didn't ruin it with the movie sample.
The .cue file for this mix is at http://www.outofmysystem.co.uk/Out%20Of%20My%20System%20-%20Catalyst%20-%2010Dec2005.cue
The mix is called Catalyst in honour of my girlfriend. As vomit-inducing as it sounds, I wouldn't be doing any of this if she hadn't come along, and I really appreciate it.
