Jamie Robinson's passion for electronic music began in the late 80's with the Acid House explosion in the UK. Quickly realizing his passion he started to dj in 1992 playing this new formed music.
From this point on over the course of 15 years he has dj'ed for various promotions, organizations and underground parties in Sweden, Finland, Thailand, Goa, Ibiza, Germany, Cyprus, Brazil, Bolivia, USA and of coarse the UK. Some of which include a 2 year residency for the legendary RETURN TO THE SOURCE, guest appearances at RENAISSANCE, MINISTRY OF SOUND, BORA BORA & EDEN (Ibiza), EARTHDANCE (Bolivia), CATCH 23, CHICHIME, LIQUID CONNECTIVE, SYNERGY PROJECT and Brightons free party collective PARTY POSSIBLE. Also not forgetting his own past projects like the monthly London parties, KARMA, the legendary BUNKER parties and even CARWASH. Djing alongside world class dj's like TIMO MASS, 808 STATE, DJ GEE, JASON BYE, STEVE LAWER, DAVE SEAMAN, COLIN DALE, TREVOR ROCKCLIFE, YOUTH, JAMES MUNROE, TSUYOSHI SUZUKI, ALEX PATTERSON, MIX MASTER MORRIS is just to mention a few.
He has brought much new and fresh blood into the scene and has proved himself as one of the chief A+R men for dance music within the digital download feild, underground and major labels. With underground labels such as Dragonfly Records, Wildthings, RTTS and major labels such as, Sony, VC, Island, EMI and Peoplesound.com.
Now working on new production company “Re-Wired”. Jamie's aim is to pull together a fusion of sounds within various projects which include himself and other raw talent from Brighton and around the UK.
His Dj sets can range from Glitch to Minimal to Tech to Electro to Acid House to Progressive, Techno. Using only the phatest cutting edge electronic sounds, his experience of music and dj-ing Jamie has the capability to use retro and contemporary music as the vehicle to take his listeners to places they probably have never experienced. He has even been know to play ACid JAzz, Retro and Psychedelic Rock. depending on the event. :0)
He is a considerate and loyal dj who thinks about the crowd and not himself. His energy is positive and this shines through at the events that he plays at and promotes.
